It's time for accountability and local leadership
For far too long, our district has been controlled by politicians who talk about change but protect the same broken system that’s failed us for years. They recycle the same promises, deliver the same excuses, and spend their time chasing national spotlights instead of fighting for the people who actually live here.

Instead of results, we’re met with endless delays. Instead of urgency, we’re handed the same recycled excuses. Decisions that reshape and damage our community are made by people who never feel the consequences and never grew up here. They decide, and we pay the price.

We are flooded with performative programs and outside operators who have no long‑term stake in our future, while the people who live here, raise families here, and run small businesses here are pushed aside and ignored. We’re done with short‑term projects, hollow promises, and people who treat our district like something disposable.

When a local library closes, or yet another shelter is placed in the same neighborhood, residents are told it’s their fault for not showing up to the “right” meeting or speaking up at the “right” moment. That isn’t accountability. That’s deflection.
​
Our district deserves representation from someone who actually lives here, not a career politician. It deserves a leader who has led in real life, managed real systems, and understands how decisions affect people on the ground. Above all, it deserves representation that makes our community stronger today than it was yesterday.

Durante demasiado tiempo, nuestro distrito ha sido controlado por políticos que prometen cambio, pero protegen el mismo sistema roto. Repiten excusas, reciclan promesas y priorizan su protagonismo antes que a la gente que vive aquí.

En lugar de resultados, hay demoras. En lugar de urgencia, excusas. Decisiones que dañan nuestra comunidad las toman personas que nunca crecieron aquí ni enfrentan las consecuencias. Ellos deciden — nosotros pagamos el precio.

Mientras operadores externos imponen proyectos sin compromiso real, las familias y pequeños negocios de nuestra comunidad son ignorados. Estamos cansados de soluciones temporales y promesas vacías.

La representación significa escuchar antes de actuar y resolver problemas, no buscar titulares. Nuestro distrito merece un verdadero residente, no un político de carrera: un líder con experiencia real que haga nuestra comunidad más fuerte hoy que ayer.

If what I am supporting, voting for, sponsoring, co-sponsoring, or even meeting on doesn't include an action that will benefit my district, then it is at the bottom of my list of priorities.
Full High School Transformation
Actual tangible changes, such as increased visual saftey measures, and advocating for a real curriculum that will be used in their practical life, such as trades, finace, and net working.
There are 0 reasons why we do not have graduation rates over 90%.
